New to site. Have a few questions.

Hi all, new to the site. I've always loved building models and decided to get back into it because I need a relatively cheaper hobby than dumping all my money into my GTO.

 

I've been looking at some models that others have built with a lot of custom work. What I'm wondering is what and where can I get the metal tubes and what kind of soder is being used on some of the projects (turbos, exhaust, etc.)? what about some of the other details, like nitrous tanks and nicer wheel/tire combos?

 

I'm definitely looking forward to the challenge of customizing some call models. Thanks
