Emma’s is one of my favorites of the beaten path of mainstream White Plains NY. Food and service are always good and the beer selection is outstanding. A great place to grab dinner and a drink with friends after work. Emma’s is one of the best Restaurants in White Plains NY.
The menu was terrific and lots of things that I wanted to try, but unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the execution of some of them:
The spinach and artichoke dip with pita looked beautiful but honestly, was tasteless.
I tasted my wife's Filet Mignon special. We both felt it was a little tough but the sauce was delicious.
Loved the vibe, the drinks, and the menu.......I was there with 6 people on Saturday night. We waited an hour for a table, even though we had reservations and we didn't really mind. The noise level was cacophonous.
Food was delicious and service was great. It has both restaurant and bar style atmospheres. Next time, I plan on just going to the bar for food and drinks. And in case you're wondering, the French Onion Soup was delicious!
Pretty extensive drink selection. Lots of beers, of course, but also specialty cocktails and nice wines by the glass. One room is a bar scene with TVs and some tables; the other room is strictly dining.
All in all, I'd say I was quite pleased with the experience and I’m anxious to try more of the menu. If you are looking for a quiet relaxed dining experience, this isn’t the place for you on a Saturday night. If you are looking for a casual pub with very reasonable prices, and potentially great food, then I highly recommend Emma's. For us, it was a good alternative to our usual hang-outs.

Emma’s is a great place to go away from the chaos of downtown Restaurants in White Plains. Describes food, vibrant bar scene, service and décor, of the White Plains Restaurant. Terrific local neighborhood Restaurant in White Plains.
If you want down home cooking in a terrific atmosphere for a couple or family this is the place; there is also a great bar adjacent to the lovely dining room. The best place in the county for a great American meal with a nouvelle cuisine twist.
Food was delicious and service was great. It has both restaurant and bar style atmospheres. Next time, I plan on just going to the bar for food and drinks. And in case you're wondering, the French Onion Soup was delicious!
Our hearty main courses were delicious: very tender Guinness braised beef stew. The chicken pot pie was kind of pricey at ($19) but it was huge and the menu said that it was made with Murray's free range chicken. Note to traditionalists: it's actually more of a thick soup topped with a rectangular, pastry puff-ish lid and not really a pot pie.
The chicken pot pie tasted good. It was served in a round ramekin bowl, not much bigger than the onion soup bowl with a piece of puff pastry that was baked separately from the pie and placed on top. The filling was tasty but the whole thing left me wanting more.
We kept watching these gorgeous looking desserts being served so we ordered three for the table. The Sticky toffee with vanilla ice cream was more like a bread pudding. I loved it but others weren’t thrilled. They preferred the warm chocolate cake with ice cream, which I was less crazy about. The apple tart with cinnamon ice cream was popular as well

Good landscapers in Phoenix are hard to find so when I found phoenix-landscapers and learned that they pre-screen landscaping companies than I knew it was a better option for me. Turns out I saved a bunch of money and time, plus now I have a good landscaper I can depend on.
Having been turned away from another large company for not having a budget that was considered worthy of their time I was apprehensive when I skimmed through the beautiful Phoenix-Landscapers website and almost didn't even call. But when I spoke with them and asked for an estimate I was pleasantly surprised with his great response.
An appointment was made and he spent 45 minutes conducting an in person estimate. They made wonderful suggestions regarding stone work and never once tried to up sell us like the other companies did. I just LOVE that….
This is a very nice restaurant that isn't a red sauce Italian joint. Every dish we have had here screams quality. After only two visits in the past year we have wished we could make it a regular establishment to visit, but with quality you also get $$$ price.
I am a big fan of Iron Horse Pizza and this one has my heart. They have an awesome menu, and what ever they do offer is always of great quality. I routinely order the Curry Chips as an app, the Steak Sandwich with peppercorn sauce as a main meal, and drink the imperial pints of Smithwicks like it was going out of style.
On our most recent visit we had chicken skewers with an Italian slaw and chipotle aoli. YUM! For an entree I had their steak special which was a superbly aged cut smothered in a butter and mushroom reduction. My wife had Clams in a white sauce on fettucini which the white sauce was not a ton of melted cheese, but a well executed white wine reduction.
My wife gets to take advantage of the slow poured, cellar temp, traditional Guinness every time we go. She loves the Fish and Chips (which the portions are HUGE).
When they have it we love to eat a bowl of their Guinness Cheese Soup. It is the best thing on a cold winter day. Everything that is potato related here is well worth the visit
Their wine selection was limited but of quality. Amazing food! You cannot beat it. Even the bread and butter they serve gratis is awesome. We will go here again in the spring to taste their seasonal menu.
The food is great. With many different dishes to choose from. The best is their pizza's. What ever you order, you get fast, hot and it taste great. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is always clean. You will enjoy!!!!!
His is a hole in the wall restaurant that is near the train station in downtown Durango. It is cozy and can possibly seat 12 people, but don't let the size fool you. The food is super fresh and truly authentic.
The owner/chef used to cook for monks, married a local, and blessed this town with some amazingly simple, yet delicious gifts of cuisine. I cannot tell you how great this place is. Just about everything on the menu I have either tried, or friends/family have eaten and always the kudos overflow.
Check this place out for lunch if you stop by our bumping town of Durango. It is worth the stop.

The first thing you want to do is, to visit this terrific local neighborhood restaurant and tasty Italian Food in Durango CO.
Good solid Family Italian restaurant. Great Salad Bar, fresh made soups and great tasty pizza. Also has a full mid priced menu that offers Gluten Free Pizza, Lighter Fare meals and is family friendly. Beer and wine are available plus they have a patio for outside dining. Their buffet is fresh, hot and fast for those in a hurry.
The night we checked in we had a couple of drinks at the bar. I am pleased that they carried Fat Tire and Stone IPA on tap, so I had to have one of each. The bartender was pleasant and prompt.
It was a busy night and we were seated at the bar at first for a couple of drinks. The bar tender this evening seemed surly and put off. He was slow to acknowledge people at the bar. He after being shy of a couple oz of the wine my wife wanted a glass of, he presented two other options and once picked, poured a glass with bits of cork in it. Nice.
Our server was absolutely awesome! She was sweet and helpful, steering us through the menu and nightly specials. For starters we shared a yam/coconut curry soup that was the best! It was like savory candy and so good. My wife ordered the salmon and I had the drunken duck. Both dishes were very good and well thought out. The portion sizes were on the moderate to large size, which was good considering the entrees were hovering around a plate.
We were very pleasantly surprised; the service was great and our waitress very friendly and helpful, and that wasn't because we were big spenders, we only ordered a soft drink each and a small pizza to share. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken and sauce was nice and hot but not so spicy that it was overwhelming, the pizza base was crisp and tasty (not at all greasy) and there was just the right amount of cheese. The price too was actually ok; it was more than we would usually pay for a pizza but not a lot, and we knew it would be a bit more as this is a tourist place.
In a state where politeness and service is legendary, Iron House Pizza stands out above the rest. Excellent value for money (check out the pepperoni pizza) and the friendliest staff you could hope to meet. It was worth the trip from Scotland just to meet these fine people. Steve and Sunny will make sure your visit is all you would expect - and more!

The best part of our wedding was our caterer. Not only is their food delicious but, they set everything up for us too. Diana was so amazing. Unlike most wedding vendors where you are treated like a burden rather than a valued customer, everyone at the Food Guy treats you like a friend.
I was always greeted with a hug! They are incredibly professional though as when the day arrived, everything that they were in charge of went perfectly. I had no doubt that it would though as they were so good at easing my mind in times of great stress.
Everyone commented on how good the food was. I really appreciated the little details that you don't think about. They brought everything to the reception for us and set everything up for us. This was especially nice since we had our reception in Ft. Collins and we live in the Denver area.

Their staff was very professional and during the reception they mostly asked questions of the bridal party and I was hardly bothered at all and was able to thoroughly enjoy my wedding.

The Food Guy was very impressive at our initial tasting. They provided me, my fiancé and mother with a full meal from salad to cake. Diana and the rest of the staff were amazing, very responsive and flexible to any changes, and made great suggestion on centerpieces and food choices! Pricing is VERY reasonable, and they don't nickel and dime you. It felt like the reception ran itself - when in fact, The Food Guy staff essentially ran everything and made sure it was a worry-free and enjoyable experience for all!!
Diana was more responsive via phone than email but everything came thru in the end. The bartender they provided knew how to mix drinks, which was a relief to one of our guests who was a little nervous that he might have to step in. The staffs were all very professional and quick.
The chef is so nice and created such delicious food. We would love to know how he made the mushroom demi glace that came with the tenderloin. They also provide a lot of rental items free of charge, which we utilized by borrowing 15 of their glass vases to float candles in.

I loved how they don't have a menu they get to know you and help you come up with a menu and food selection that fits for you. My mother and my fiancé love Chinese take out and a movie and since our wedding was movie themed we had Chinese food at our wedding and it was really good. The staff was very nice and professional.

There had been sawdust on the floor, these massive booths that were straight outta Vegas back in the day, and the servers wear guns on their hips. Engaging place, indeed. The car park was crowded, so we took that to be a very good sign.
We had a huge group, so we were seated in the back. They must have thought we were a little rowdy or something. Anyway, our server, who's name starts with an M ( it wasn't Maria and I really don't like to get her name wrong ) was full of piss and vinegar--in a good way. She is from Germany, and she's funny as hell and damn good at what she does. She kept things humming at our table completely.
The menu had a good assortment of decisions , you can select burgers, sandwiches, salads, and bigger plates, if you like. Their lunch special menu was a little limited, but a good deal.
I ordered the cheeseburger, which came with steak fries and a small portion of peach cobbler for dessert. The burger was very good and I loved how the bun was just a touch sweet. Fries were just right...crispy on the outside and soft inside. The cobbler was excellent, although I only ate a quarter of it.
Liked the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK!!! I'll be honest, so long as a place has a good C.F.S, I am in!! Been here plenty of times growing up. Check the internet site, maybe even call, but discover the specials that way you know what your going to get... Next time Im gonna try the Apple Pie topped with a Piece of CHEESE.

You could definitely get a fancier meal in many other places, but the food you get for the price can't be beat. The place is like a museum of engaging western items, paintings and memorabilia everywhere you look. There are a few things comfortable about the place. You do not want to attend too long to sit, because there are such a lot of places to eat. Haven't ever been treated rudely at any point. Nice place.
I just love the staff ' outfits, which are complete with a gun belt and a cowboy shirt! The place is filled with ornamental western antiques, and let's not forgets the sawdust! The atmosphere is very fun and the food is better than any place else! I usually leave Bill Johnson's stuffed with amazing food and content memories. I have been going to several locations for years for breakfast, I love their chicken fried steak. Last night was my first time for dinner. I was seated quickly. Server showed up within 3 minutes to take my order. I had my salad about three minutes after that and my burger showed up within 5 minutes of finishing the salad. I would rate that level of service quite good.

I grew up in Phoenix and I always remember Big Apple. It was always a place you want to go when you’re a kid. I went here when I came down to visit. I’ve never been at this location before. It’s so cool. I ordered the chicken and ribs. The chicken was so good! The ribs were excellent so I ate plenty of more chicken. The waitress helped us was very nice also. I had a great time here. It never disappoints Always good! A great place to dine!

All of the dinners feature a bunch of sides that may keep the hunger monster away! The zucchini and onion rings are to die for & for pudding, Private Sized Deep Dish Pie in various flavors ( I like them all ) that is superb!
I am really surprised Bill Johnson's came up on a list of good BBQ spots in Phoenix. I had the babyback ribs and the sauce was less than spiced up catsup. If you need good BBQ go to a place that specializes in it!!!
From breakfast to dinner there food is heavenly and filling! They have steaks and my fave meatloaf. The wagon wheeler sampler will stuff you before your food arrives and there apple cobbler well it's a must have. The atmosphere is interesting too. As a kid I liked the saw dust on the floors and the bars on the windows like a western jail. The waitresses carry fake pistols and talk with accents.

The sole complaint I can think about is we ate too much. I can't even tell you how much I like Bill Johnsons Phoenix restaurant location!!! The atmosphere alone would keep me coming back once more. Pulled pork, beef brisket, and hot links, is the ideal combination, to get a little taste of everything that is glorious about Huge Apple. It's got a totally comfortable dining room that's stylish and yet completely relaxed and inviting. The service was attentive and knowledgeable.
Bill Johnson's is one of the finest cafes in phoenix where u can find the food is cheap & straightforward. It's lovable, and a custom, and also , the food, the service is also excellent. The wait staff is kind and helpful. The corn was sweet and good and the sausage was great. I just liked the zucchini appetizer too!!! Love the sign outside though. I actually liked the relaxed feel of this place. Food was excellent. Service was good, staff friendly, wow, a great choice!
You forget you're in Downtown Phoenix when you step inside. The sawdust makes it feel a bit like you step into the old west. The food and costs are good. All the family will like this place.

We went to the Italian Food Restaurant in Scottsdale called "Pasta Primo" and had a 4 course dinner that included 2 glasses of wine. The bread is the best with the pesto sauce, and then came an appetizer that I had never heard of. It was called Polenta. It was delicious. Then A Caesar salad that was perfect.
For Dinner I had Chicken with Cheese and prosciutto, which came with Spagetti. Then we shared Tiramisu for desert. What a perfect ending to an amazing dinner. The waiter was very attentive and never let our glasses get even close to empty. Thank You "Scottsdale Italian Restaurants" for making my dinner a wonderful experience.
Geez, I can't believe I hadn't reviewed Pasta Primo before. I thought I was coming back to update my review. No such luck.
My partner and I decided on a 5:15 PM Movie at the Shea 14 and earlier in the day I had noticed a BOGO coupon for Pasta Primo in the paper. Since it's been way too hot to cook dinner and a movie sounded great.
Having been to Pasta Primo several times before for lunch we knew what to expect. It's what I consider a somewhat fast casual place, the type of restaurant you wouldn't expect to be busy on a Friday night. Boy was I wrong.
When we arrived there was only one table left and we were directed to sit anywhere we'd like. Well, that choice was easily made. We were immediately greeted and offered and served drinks along with a delicious plate of bread and pesto dipping sauce - yum! The place was really bustling and the servers were hustling.
Shortly after our drinks arrived our waiter came back to take our orders. Unfortunately they were out of Eggplant Parmesan, my first choice so I settled for Chicken Marsala. Actually we both ordered the Marsala.
Our entrees came quickly and were presented well. A nice portion of chicken topped off with portobello mushrooms and a side of spinach. My partner had hoped for a side of pasta, but still really liked his dish.
Pasta Primo is much better than some of the "chain" Italian Restaurants and the BOGO coupon made it even better. Ask to be included on their email list and you'll get even more deals.
Good reincarnation of Pasta Pomadodoro... The previous restaurant here. Thank goodness because my kids loved that. Good salads, kid friendly, better than "chain" Italian, nice patio, great service.

World-Famous BBQ, a great atmosphere, incredible staff. It started in the heart and mind of Bill Johnson, one of Phoenix’s original showmen. Bill would ramble on to the people of Phoenix almost every night until Midnight, and people would come from all around to dine and witness his broadcast.
One of the best Tasty Food in Phoenix. I continuously go back to this restaurant and receive the most wonderful service! The Foods are really great! Try the 9oz Sirloin, medium, it's absolutely delicious! I would say its one of the best Restaurant has Tasty Foods in the neighborhood of Phoenix.
Excellent food if you know what to expect (steaks, burgers, cowboy fare). Their BBQ sauce is awesome. I plan to buy some and bring it home with me next time I'm in town. I love that the drink choices include sasparillo, flavored teas and crème sodas. This place is very kid and family friendly.
Our waitress Bonnie was very nice and her outfit and attitude was a nice compliment to the cowboy atmosphere. You have to try this place. It's a Phoenix tradition.
The location was once a decent section of town but that was long ago. I didn't feel unsafe here, even though we were there after dark, especially with all of the new construction in the area. But it's right next to the icky side of downtown Phoenix.
LOVED THE CHICKEN FRIED STEAK!!! I will be honest, as long as a place has a good C.F.S, I'm in!! Been here plenty of times growing up. Check the website, maybe even call, but find out the specials that way you know what your gonna get...
The service was friendly and fast. We were very impressed that the deaf man who was seated by himself right before us got a waitress who knew sign language. I don't think you would find someone with that skill in most fine dining places. Yes, the neighborhood is sketchy, and yes, the restaurant is darker at breakfast than I would prefer, but will we be back for sure.
For dessert we had their deep dish apple pie, which tasted the same as it would have from the freezer at my local grocer. Like everything in Bill Johnson's cause it’s cheap & easy. The wait staff is kind and helpful. Very attentive as they knock their gun holsters against your table as they turn around. The food is marginal but you get a lot and it doesn't cost much.

After getting several bids from Phoenix landscaping companies, we chose the one with the lowest price because our job was for a commercial property. This site saved our committee a lot of time and hassle because we could get several bids from landscape companies.
I am very impressed with Phoenix-Landscapers and their crew. They show up on time and stay till the job is done. They work with you and if you need anything done...ask....They can do it!

I contacted for a meeting to go over some of the jobs. His project Manager has come out to see us. We agreed on the terms to remove an old walkway and steps and replace them with flagstone. The result is great and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

I also requested some lists of jobs and customers which they were happy to give me. I had an ashpalt driveway and concrete walkway I wanted replaced with interlocking stone and flagstone banding. They sent me a detailed quote with a timeline. They job went great minus a few wet days but the crew worked late everyday to make my deadline. I had a very good experience with them and am happy with the final outcome of the project.
I'm glad that I used phoenix-landscapers.org to find a landscaper. My trees needed trimming, my curbing need repair and my lawn had burned out.
