World-Famous BBQ, a great atmosphere, incredible staff. It started in the heart and mind of Bill Johnson, one of Arizona’s original showmen. Bill would ramble on to the people of Arizona almost every night until Midnight, and people would come from all around to dine and witness his broadcast.
One of the best AZ Restaurants in Goodyear. I continuously go back to this restaurant and receive the most wonderful service! The steaks are great! Try the 9oz Sirloin, medium, it's absolutely delicious! I would say its one of the best Restaurant in the Goodyear AZ neighborhood.
All of the dinners come with a bunch of sides which will keep the hunger monster away! The zucchini and onion rings are to die for & for dessert, Personal Sized Deep Dish Pie in various flavors ( I love them all ) that's amazing!

I am really surprised Bill Johnson's came up on a listing of good BBQ spots in Phoenix. I had the babyback ribs and the sauce was less than spiced up catsup. If you'd like good BBQ go to a place that concentrates on it!!!

From breakfast to dinner there food is heavenly and filling! They have steaks and my fave meatloaf. The lorry wheeler sampler will stuff you before your food arrives and there apple cobbler well it's an absolute must. The atmosphere is fascinating too. As a kid I adored the saw dust on the floors and the bars on the windows like a western jail. The waitresses carry fake pistols and talk with accents.

If you live in Arizona, you have been to Bill Johnson's! It speaks for itself. Great restaurant ! One of my favorites! Tons of history behind it!
The only complaint I will think of is we ate too much. I can't even tell you how much I adore Bill Johnsons Phoenix restaurant location!!! The atmosphere alone would keep me coming back once more. Pulled pork, meat brisket, and hot links, is the ideal combination, to get a taste of everything that's wonderful about Big Apple. It has got a very comfortable dining room that is stylish and yet completely relaxed and welcoming. The service was alert and well informed.

Bill Johnson's is one of the best restaurants in phoenix where u can find the food is inexpensive & simple. It's lovable, and a practice, and also , the food, the service is also excellent. The wait staff is kind and helpful. The corn was sweet and good and the sausage was great. I just adored the zucchini appetizer too!!! Love the sign outside though. I really liked the relaxed feel of this place. Food was wonderful. Service was good, staff friendly, wow, a great choice!

You forget you're in Downtown Phoenix when you step within. The sawdust makes it feel just like you step into the old west. The food and costs are good. All the family will enjoy this place.

Bill Johnson's catered my daughter's marriage. They actually did an outstanding job and were easy to work with. The menu we select was tasty and the service was notable from start to finish. We were given many compliments on the fantastic dessert bar and other foodstuffs.

Good food! Open and Flexible to ideas, lots of variety! Yummy Food that everyone at our wedding loved. My Maid of Honor announced it was actually the best marriage food she had ever had. They were flexible, pro and staff was great to work with. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. They made the wedding simple for the bride and her mom and dad and fun for everyone.

Home of the best finger lickinest, bar-b-que beef ribs in the world. Seriously! It's been several years and a few beef ribs later on I'm able to still feel the mouth-watering, tender, pieces of beef, with that melt-in-your mouth feel. Definitely fantastic, and the cornbread muffins where not bad either!

Bill Johnson's Catering was completely fantastic. The planning was simple , the staff was professional and organized. Everyone who attended our marriage continues to comment on how tasty our food was. The nosh was fantastic and we received many compliments during and after the merriment.

We used Bill's for our engagement party. It was Extraordinary. The nosh was creative and succulent. I will tell it was all homemade. Bill's was so full of the most creative concepts. I was most impressed that staffs themselves met up with us personally and help us plan a party I will never forget. We are using Bill's events and catering for our marriage and after wedding-brunch too. I was surprised abt the food. It got so helpful, professional and amiable. Employees at our event were the best . They looked great and left our house match. I strongly recommend them.

The staff took good care of our guests and paid special attention to my hubby and me through dinner. The organization was straightforward and took a large amount of pressure off us. We highly recommend them!
