Great Local Family Dining! Their pizza is 1st class with high quality sauce, Giant Salad Bar, Pizza buffet, Pasta, Calzones, Boli's, Specialty Sandwiches, Gluten Free Menu items and friendly service! It is the Best of the Best Italian Restaurant in Durango CO.

Oh my gosh! I love food at Iron Horse Pizza. It was So goooood! I had the salad which was good, nothing to write home about, but the pizza was AMAZING. The crust is delish, and after eating the pizza one can dip the crust in honey. We got the 5lb hamburger pizza with everything on it minus mushrooms.. If you are coming home from skiing or on your way, stop by here. Service could have been a little better with filling up the drinks, but overall it is a MUST. The restaurant is clean and large too.

Their wait staff is knowledgeable and classy. Their beer and wine selection is top notch. Their fusion dishes are of an amazing quality and creativity. You HAVE to have a Handgrenade at the start of any meal (nom nom nom). Edemame is prepared with care. Their tempura is always fried in clean oil. Their Snake RIver Kobe Beef melts in your mouth.

The Most Beautiful Place in the World!: My family and I absolutely LOVE this place! Has a beautiful river with an old mill type structure, nice level full hookups. I have a large unit and I'm able to fit just fine.

We just love the owners to death. I went up to the restaurant to see if he had a paper and he said no and just walked out. A few minutes later, he came back with a paper from where he drove up the road and bought me one! Now how many ppl would do something like that? I would definitely would recommend Iron Horse.:)

Durango's only place for fresh salad bar, freshly made soups and pizza by the slice. They also have a full menu with the traditional Beau Jo's Mountain Pizza, a thin Prairie Crust and a Sour Dough Crust. They also make Stromboli's, Calzone's and Boli's, great sub sandwich, specialty salads and tossed or baked pasta dishes.

I'm impressed with the service of my server. All were gracious and efficient. At the time there was a group of 40 from a sports team, but on a busy Friday night, every customer received good service. It was clear that management focused on service. Good job! The food was good too!

Good solid Family Italian restaurant. Great Salad Bar, fresh made soups and great tasty pizza. Also has a full mid priced menu that offers Gluten Free Pizza, Lighter Fare meals and is family friendly. Beer and wine are available plus they have a patio for outside dining. Their buffet is fresh, hot and fast for those in a hurry.
