Iron Horse Pizza is the only place for Buffet & fresh salad bar in Durango. It’s freshly made soups and pizza by the slice. They also have a full menu with the traditional Beau Jo's Mountain Pizza, a thin Prairie Crust and a Sour Dough Crust. They also make Stromboli's, Calzone's and Boli's, great sub sandwich, specialty salads and tossed or baked pasta dishes.

Saw a bad review and felt it was unfair. At lunch they have a fast casual approach where you pay first. This helps when you are on a time crunch and short lunch hour. At night they do table service. Different than Beau Jo's on the Front Range.

The staff is friendly and works hard to please all the customers. They especially take care of kids who eat free on weekends.

Took our family there on our way out of town after vacation. This was the most amazing pizza we have ever had!! Lots of gooey cheese in the crust, and the pepperoni pizza was the best I've ever had! HOWEVER, the staff needs training on kitchen hygiene -- I witnessed one food-prep employee wiping his nose with his hands there in the kitchen. And another employee was resting her chin in her hands while watching a football game on the TV, sometimes with her hands touching her mouth. Food-prep people should keep their hands off their faces!

This is a hole in the wall restaurant that is near the train station in downtown Durango. It is cozy and can possibly seat 12 people, but don't let the size fool you. The food is super fresh and truly authentic. The owner/chef used to cook for monks, married a local, and blessed this town with some amazingly simple, yet delicious gifts of cuisine.

I cannot tell you how great this place is. Just about everything on the menu I have either tried, or friends/family have eaten and always the kudos overflow. Check this place out for lunch if you stop by our bumping town of Durango. It is worth the stop.

In a state where politeness and service is legendary, Iron Horse Pizza stands out above the rest. Excellent value for money (check out the pepperoni pizza) and the friendliest staff you could hope to meet. It was worth the trip from Scotland just to meet these fine people. Steve and Sunny will make sure your visit is all you would expect - and more!

The food is great. With many different dishes to choose from. The best is their pizza's. What ever you order, you get fast, hot and it taste great. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is always clean. You will enjoy!!!!!
