World-Famous BBQ, a great atmosphere, incredible staff. It started in the heart and mind of Bill Johnson, one of Phoenix’s original showmen. Bill would ramble on to the people of Phoenix almost every night until Midnight, and people would come from all around to dine and witness his broadcast.

Bill's is a perfect solid place for BBQs in Mesa Arizona. The breakfasts are way more appetizing and truly, truly cheap. Bill Johnson's is inexpensive and easy! We keep going back because it's fills the belly without emptying the wallet. The menu had a good spread of selections , you can select burgers, sandwiches, salads, and larger plates, if you like. Their lunch special menu was a fair deal. The burger was good and I loved the cobbler was excellent.

I know Bill Johnson's is famous for its barbeque, but its breakfast cannot be beat. They've got one of the finest country style breakfasts. Gigantic portions, savory, and very satisfying. I believed the hash browns were glorious you can't get it wrong with their breakfast. It's a good place to bring out of towners who need to eat at a cowboy type AZ place. We were particularly impressed with the freshness of each entree / appetizer. The food was great as was the service. Our waitress was fantastic

You might certainly get a fancier meal in several other places, but the food you get for the price can't be beat. The place is sort of a museum of interesting western items, paintings and memorabilia wherever you look. There is something comfy about the place. You do not need to attend too long to sit, as there are such a lot of places to eat. Have never been treated insultingly at any point. Nice place.

I just love the staff ' outfits, which are complete with a gun belt and a cowboy shirt! The place is crammed with decorative western antiques, and let's not forgets the sawdust! The atmosphere is extraordinarily fun and the food is better than anywhere else! I usually leave Bill Johnson's crammed with fantastic food and happy memories. It's a great place to take your family and friends! Best food in town! Awesome service too!

I like the breakfast at Bill Johnson's. I am getting the steak and eggs usually. I do this as the steaks are toothsome when grouped with the eggs they serve. Apple pie still the finest in town, kids enjoyed atmosphere, relaxing environment. Great lunch specials and also a great variety of food. Food is great and all for a very good price. This is a great place for families.
